WHAT HAPPENED?
The Daily Mail reports Ten Hag will know where he stands in the coming days but despite Sir Jim Ratcliffe holding talks with former Bayern Munich boss Tuchel – he is no longer a candidate to replace the Dutchman at Old Trafford. Moreover, no final decision on the future of the ex-Ajax boss has yet been made.

Ratcliffe's INEOS group have been carrying out a review of United's season under Ten Hag, which included finishing eighth in the Premier League, crashing out early in the Carabao Cup and Champions League but also winning the FA Cup. The Dutchman repeatedly stressed the club's injury list hurt their results and while that is being taken into consideration, it may not save his United job. A huge decision lies ahead for the club.
